I graduated a couple of years ago with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Criminal Justice administration. Since then I have not held any type of job nor do I have experience in anything. I have defaulted on my student loans as well. I have been told that I will not be able to get a job in my field because I am automatically disqualified due to my defaulted loans. I also won't be able to finance a car or a home.

I know it is not the end of the world for me and everyday I'm trying to stay positive and I hate to use the word "desperate," but as of now I am desperate. I need to get a job but I'm wondering is it too late for me? Are my dreams of having a career in the criminal justice field (such as law enforcement as a police officer) are over? What can I do right now? As of now I'm just trying to apply anywhere that somewhat relates my field (e.g. loss prevention, security) and anything that's entry-level that pays slightly above minimum wage.
