Cameron is worse than Thatcher. Discuss.?

My view, for what it's worth.

He's worse than Thatcher.

Thatcher was evil, and determined to destroy the trade unions and any power that the working man possessed, but she had an ideology, she followed it, and I don't believe she was corrupt or hypocritical. She did what she said she was going to do, out of genuine belief, and it was horrible.

Cameron is only concerned with exercising power. His recent actions over tax avoidance shows he is hypocritical and corrupt - happy to claim the actions of a comedian are immoral, but not willing to extend the same condemnation to those who fund his party out of the tax they've avoided. His changes of mind and policy show him to be incompetent and without a plan, other than to protect his power base, and his class's wealth.

What one must understand about the conservatives is that they are leaders and then there are followers. Mrs Thatcher was a leader, despite the fact that I had no time for the lady, she was a person of conviction, it did not matter whether they were wrong or right she stuck to her guns and you may not like her but you respect her because 'the lady was not for turning'.

Cameron on the other hand is a bandwagon, opportunist incapable followers. He has no convictions he jump and skipped around issues that he believe will make the British public vote for the party. Politicians like him is a disaster to the country and its citizens he does not have one original idea in him. I cannot wait for the next general election.
