Can a 14 year old own a patent?

I think I've come up with something unique, and I think its patent-able. Can a 14 year old register and own a patent?

There arent any age limits for owning a patent. I just hope that your definition of something being 'patentable' is well-researched.

You are going to need to get your parent's help with this. You need to hire a lawyer who can do the research for you to make sure someone hasn't thought of your idea or product already. Good luck.
