Can I study law with a bachelors in criminology?

I have several things that I want to be, and they all trace back to criminology, except one - law. Specifically, I want to be a criminal defense lawyer. (I have several things I want to be, and becoming a criminal defense lawyer is just one, so please, be as blunt, clear, and concise as possible.)

Just as an everyday person, a criminology degree sounds apropos to studying law and for one who has an interest in criminal law.

You can get a bachelor's in anything and go to law school. Get a good GPA and do the pre-law requirements, and score well on standardized tests (LSAT etc).

Yes, you can get a bachelor's in criminology and then go on to law school.

You will probably want to take classes that are recommended for pre-law students too if you are seriously thinking that you want to be a defense attorney as opposed to one of the other things on your list, but you can use elective credits for those. And I think that criminology would be a good background for a criminal defense lawyer.

You certainly can, but be aware there is a glut of lawyers on the market right now. Criminal Law does not have good earnings prospects

If you fail to get into a good Law School, the alternative may be Mall Cop.
