Can I take my roommate to small claims court for covering the house in glitter before leaving?

When my roommate moved out she covered our house in glitter. Counter tops, floors, carpet, couches, even on top of the fridge! EVERYTHING is covered in sticky glitter that will not come out. I would like to take my ex-roommate to small claims court. I have a text admitting that she did it, pictures and an estimate from cleaning services. Do you think I can win, and what can I do to insure that I do? I really need some legal help.

You have a very good chance of winning. All you need to is show the text, show the pictures, and produce the receipt for cleaning. The judge will probably also award any court costs you have.

Save the text admitting that she did it. The text and pictures will be enough to secure a verdict in your favor. And have several estimates done. Say around 3 or 4. Take the highest estimates to court with you so the judge can get a good feel for how much to award you. Then use the lowest estimate(the 1 you didn't take to court with you) to do the actual work. That way you have a few extra bucks in your pocket.
And if you want to, see if you can get some cash out of her for "emotional stress". Reasons, you couldn't have people over to visit because you were ashamed of the state of your house. Something like that.
Stick it to the bytch.

Good case for "The Peoples Court". Yours sounds like a "slam/dunk".
