Can i turn my trademark into a charity?

Postby ned » Mon Apr 09, 2012 4:01 pm

No, a trademark is simply a means for identification that may be APPLIED to a charity or other goods or services in a particular field. If you happen to have a charity that uses one or more trademarks in its mission, you can certainly advertise your goods and services using those trademarks.

For example, if you were the Ascot Fire Brigade Trust (registered charity), you could sell trinkets and host fund-raising events using your trademark name.
