Well my juvinile record was erased (all small stuff) but a couple weeks after turning 18 I got larcony of merchindise (stealing stuff to walmart hustle) I spent 1 day in county. I also have.a warrant for skipping court. my back up plan is to be a bounty hunter. (i want to be the future dog) anyway after all the courts and warrants and other stuff is taken care of will I be able to accomplish PI goal? Or the bounty hunter goal? Or am I forever screwed on the law enforcement thing?

It depends on your state laws. Some states you need to obtain a bailsman lisc. Each state has its own guidelines, I would suggest speaking to a bondsman in your state and asking them the rules and regulations with obtaining such a position.

It also depends on the employer if they want to hire someone with a criminal record.

You wanna be a bounty hunter but you skipped court???? How ironic. My first suggestion would be to get your _ _ _ _ straight before you do screw up your entire future. At this point, you have no felonies so your life is not ruined. Each state has different requirements and laws for PIs so you will need to check with your state and your current record will make it more difficult to get hired. People want to employee trust worthy individuals and even shoplifting a piece of candy marks you as a thief. If you re-schedual court, get your sentence adjudicated and stay out of trouble, this will be erased from your record, too. Or after so many years (at least ten) of staying out of trouble, you can pay a small fortune and have petty crimes exponged from your record.
In any case, your dream is not lost...yet. Its all up to you.
