Was sent some papers about joining in on a class action lawsuit against a company called Midland Funding LLC who filed a judgement against me. It claims they used false information in their affidavit, what is an affidavit? I am told I will only get $20 dollars by a friend of mine if I join in.... is it even worth it then? Could it in the end be more than simply $20? I think I have until June 1st to decide or not. I contacted BrentSettlement about it but no one has gotten back to me yet about it. If I don't join in than I have no right to any settlement money, so am I taking a slight risk in not joining if I don't?

I just got my check from this lawsuit that has been going on and on because they did this to so many people and mine was for 100.00 not 20.00. And it came with a letter from the disrict court. And has far as the address thing they could find out anywhere if you still live some where or not, they do not have to go to such measures to prove this or find out.

I got the same papers in the mail a few days ago... Came across this after Google searches.

I recieved the same post card that Nicole recieved. I was informed yestarday by my attorney that Midland Funding LLC, is verifying that you currently still live @ that present address once you return the post card they go ahead the suit. Little do they know, it will workin your favor. Because this was a false pretends action. You thought that you was apart of a class action lawyer suit and you signed and returned the post card. Oh well I didn't make a copy of the psot card. But my brother have the same letter from Midland Funding LLC. I made a copy of that a longer with this website blogs and am going to forward it to my attonery on Monday!. I will return with good news.

If you do join in it would prevent them from trying to collect from you and the affidavit they filed was most probably to collect from you and in that case even if you only received 20 it would be worth it to prevent them from any collection proceedings against you, they may have purchased a delinquent debt from another company and will use every type of method they can to collect.}{
