Do I have to register my company to publish a game?

Hi! Me and some friends are starting an indie games studio and plan on releasing a game on the iPhone. We already thought of a company name but we didn't officially register it. So, my question is, if I publish my game under the company name, and then someone else registers the copyright and trademark name, do they have the rights to my game? Should I just publish the game under my personal name?

register it or you'll get railroaded. copyright and trademark it under the company name and realize it may already be taken. never publish on your own. this way the company owns the rights and they can pay out royalties.
