Enforcing current laws would not require adding new laws.
Improving border patrols could be part of a program to enforce the current laws, but actually prosecuting and deporting or imprisoning people convicted of illegal immigration would be the best way to enforce the current laws.
Does "enforcing current immigration laws" include improving border patrol and/or adding new immigration laws?
