I downloaded the Portal 2 SKIDROW torrent. I launched it but it just crashed while loading. I ran it as admin and that did the trick. Then when I got to the main menu, there were only 2 buttons. NO STEAM and Quit. I then added Portal 2 to my Steam library. I ran it and I had all of the options. I clicked on Single Player and the game started loading. Halfway through, it stopped and said, STEAM VALIDATION REJECTED. I then did some research and learned that this can happen, so I right clicked, went to Properties, and found no validation button. I guessed something like that would happen, seeing as it's a torrent. So then I found some sort of crack from SKIDROW and I extracted all of the files into my Portal 2 folder. I tried to run the game but now I'm back at square 1. NO STEAM and Quit. I would really appreciate the help because I have completed the short masterpiece that is Portal (the first) and would like to enjoy it's sequel.
