I am going to school online for Paralegal Studies and would like to start getting some work experience. Do law offices allow students to volunteer to gain experience?

You can't just "volunteer" (at least at a for-profit firm) due to labor laws. However, your school (hopefully) has an internship program or some other way to set you up with work experience. Go through this program to find employers who are willing to work with students.

You can contact some nonprofits and see about volunteering if nothing through your school works out. However, you're going to be less likely to find good options without the connections your school's career services can provide for you.
