Got Traffic ticket in California. Do I need to pay the ticket amount to go to traffic school?

I got the document in mail. It says that I am eligible for attending traffic school. The bail amount written was $360. Do I need to pay it off to be able to go to traffic school ?

For accurate information and clarification I am positive there is phone contact with the court that sent this document to you. I understand that is quite easy and convenient to whip out the Smartphone and key in a question but local resources should always be the first choice. Yes, you need to pay the ticket first before you can take traffic school. 
There should be 3 options on the notice. Pay the fine pnly, pay fine with traffic school and finally go to court.

Make sure you select the pay the fine and traffic school option.  That would be a little higher than just the fine.
