I really need your help...My dad was in New Jersey and got a moving violation for failure to move for an emergency vehicle...
My dad told me that he saw the cop car with the lights flashing and my dad signaled and moved over... minutes later the cops pulls my dad over and tells him you almost tried to kill me...
I believe my dad and he has a clean record...Maybe the cop mistaken my dad for a different vehicle but I think this is horrible that a senior citizen has to go through this... My dad has no money and really can't afford a lawyer so can you please give me legal advice...I am really worried and nervous and I don't know what to do...Thank you...

He has to get a lawyer. The lawyer can represent in his behalf. There are some public attorneys who can help him out.

He should just hire a lawyer to help him out. This will help him out greatly.
