How is it possible that Eric Holder is Attorney General?

His actions run criminally counter to anything that remotely resemble those of chief law enforcemtet officer.

During the Clinton admin he was the pardon gatekeeper who arranged for the pardon of former Weather Underground members Susan Rosenberg (who was involved a deadly 1981 armed robbery) and Linda Evans (who used false ID to buy firearms and had 740 pounds of TNT at the time of her arrest).

He got fugitive oil broker and tax cheat Marc Rich pardoned. Rich hid $100 million in oil profits he got from Iran during the American Trade Embargo.

He dropped the charges of voter intimidation committed by members of the New Black Panthers in Phil. Dropped, even after Bartle Bull, the former campaign manager for Robert Kennedy, said it was the most blatant form of voter intimidation he had ever seen.

He chose to try the 9-11 terrorists in a civilian court in Manhattan placing our county and NY at greater risk. It also would extend Miranda Rights to these war criminals greatly increasing the liklyhood of dismissal. Pressure from the NY governor and public ended this idiotic idea.

Holder and Obama pushed to house 100 of the 215 terrorist detainees in a small prison in the Thomson, Illinois, 150 miles west of Chicago. Again they were forced by public pressure to abandon this loonacy.

In his own words he considers the U.S. a "Nation of Cowards".

Fast and furious, contempt of congress, failure to enforce immigration law, prosecution of those who do enforce the law.

Is he not the anti-attorney general?

To answer your question;

Eric Holder is the perfect AG for Obama and Democrats, He selectively enforces the laws that Obama wants in order to destroy America from with in. His job as Obama's AG is not to enforce all laws, just the ones Obama and Democrats want to enforce.........

Your outrage is that he is a Democrat. There is no one but you extremist of the right that even think that he should be removed. And more important, there are no charges, there is no criminal investigation except by the lynch mobs of the Republican party.

Have your rant, the majority of the USA disagree with you.

This is a partisan issue. I'm a Democrat and while I think whatever happened is regrettable I'm willing to admonish and forgive. The GOP want to lambaste him cause it is politically advantageous.

I think it is because he is such a political hack that he is needed in the office. At least, that is the thinking at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

BTW, on F&F, I do think, as does CBS News, that the whole Fast & Furious gun running debacle had less to do with trying to trace guns across the border into the hands of Mexican drug gangs and more to do with providing the pretext for more control. Reducing the number of weapons you can buy, number you can own, tougher registration requirements, etc.
