How is such an unAmerican company like Sallie Mae allowed to exist in the United States?

This company is the slimyest entity I have ever read about. They use misdirection to make Americans think they are part of the government when they are not. They have bribed congress, other politicians, college administrators to have a monopoly on the student loan industry.

Sallie Mae was started in the seventies to help the middle-class and poor to be able to get college loans at an affordable rate. It was designed to help Americans achieve the American dream.

People like this Albert Lord using Lobbyists to bribe congressmen to get rid of the consumer protection and pass laws to erode everything good about Sallie Mae. He did it through lying, cheating and bribery.

Anybody can research Sallie Mae and they would be appalled by all the criminal activity this guy has pulled so he could get rich by ripping off taxpayers and the youth of our country. How can this guy get away with puting millions of Americans into a lifetime of indentured servitude. Lord has made well over 500 million dollars in a very criminal way.
Why aren't the authorities looking into this company and locking people up for fraud and corruption on a monumental level?

This guy tried to buy a baseball team with all the money he ripped off of good Americans.

I thought monopolies were against the law in this country. He owns the whole student loan industry from lending to collections.

I hope somebody can give me a good answer how this can happen in the democracy of the United States. People and companies like this are ruining our country and all the signs are there.
