My neighbor has an aggressive Pit Bull (he's admitted to my face) and I have two small children and small animals. If this dog even steps a foot on my property, I will shoot him.

I do not care how much money I could even get sued for, I'm just curious what rights he has. I would make sure there is no way the dog is able to be saved by the vet either, so no surgery bills.

You can even slice his ******* dog in pieces if its in your property.Same thing happen to me last year with my neighbor I shot about 15 BBs is his a$$ before he finally escaped

He can only sue for the value of the animal.
The "fare market value," NOT the "oh, he was like family" value.

If you are in city limits you can get in a bit of trouble. Discharging a firearm in city limits can warrant problems with the cops.

I would get a hold of your local dog warden and see if there is anything they can do. Get the police involved.

Last thing you want to do is do something that could cause you to lose your kids to the state, if they deem you an irresponsible parent.
