Choosy Dentist...I moved to a small town about 7month ago. I 'm about 2000 miles from my old dentist. I broke a wisdom tooth and have been attempting to find a dentist. The problem is that, not a single dentist in my area is willing to see me. Everyone has told me they aren't open for new patents. But what if it's serious? Are they allowed to deny me service like that? It's been a few months now and the edge of the tooth is almost down to the gum line. It just keeps cracking. And it's getting extremely sore. The nearest major city is 70 miles away. What do I do? I'm I asking for the wrong type of dentist or something?

In my opinion driving a long way for a good dentist is worth it. (The 70 miles, not the 2000.) I regret going to the dentist I did as he messed my jaw up...But who's to say where the better dentist is. :(
