I hate jealous people who feed off other peoples misery?

Postby adin55 » Sat Jun 30, 2012 4:36 am

It seems the only way some people make themselves appear better or to feel better is to feed off other peoples misery and suffering. These people are like human leaches who attach themselve to you and drain you dry. My sister in law is one of them, she seems to have an obsession with my business, what I do, where I go, and my life in general. She always tries to get the upper hand in everything I do. She thinks she is better looking than me, more intelligent, infact she thinks she is better than me in every way. If I get some bad news about something like a friend dying or someone ill in my family, this makes her feel wonderful, she will then tell everyone how happy she is. If I feel happy, she will try to find some way of belittling me or putting me down about my looks, or my weight. How do you deal with these idiots? I am quite attractive, not a bad figure, and have passed many exams, why is she such a *****?

Sounds like you are spending to much time with your sister in law. I have 3 sister in laws, and I only see them a few times per year. I have no reason to talk to them on the phone either.
I look at it this way , just because I married your brother, does not mean I give a rats *** about you.

Why does your sister in law know all your stuff then? If you know she is only looking for gossip or a way to make you feel bad, cut her off from all your personal info. Dont tell her stuff. Talk 'small talk' and 'chit-chat' when forced to be with her, and avoid telling her ANYTHING. If she brags about her sh1t, then give her the minimum amount of praise that social etiquette allows. "Oh, that's nice" then shut up and walk away.
You life is not her property. You are only related through marriage, not blood. Keep her at a cool distance.

well i suppose people like that is the simplest to deal with. just agree with these people every time. show sincerity that you accept defeat in words, but you would have to later prove that you are much much better that they are in action. this method may have to possible effects: 1. your sister would just grow tired of fighting because you are no longer competing or 2. by proving that you are better in action she's accept defeat and feel frustration over her incompetence.

this is a free world and you don't have to tell anybody about what your doing and where your going. forget about what other people say or, do. this is your life. of course there are people out there like your sister in law that have nothing else to do.
