So I'm gay, and I really like this guy in my class. At first, I thought he was straight so I tried my best to resist falling for him. However, we see each other all the time (in class, extra-curriculars, etc.), and we talk to each other a lot. At times, I feel as though he might be flirting with me. But I think that maybe I liked him so much that I misinterpreted his actions. I fb-friended him and he listed that he's straight (ie, "interested in women"). That made me sad for a while, and I tried to just act normal around him. Yet, I still feel this chemistry. The semester is about to be over, and I don't know how to deal with this. Please give me some advice....Is it possible that despite what fb says, he's closeted?

its possible, he might not be ready to come out cuz of family life and opinions. if u wont see him again for a long time then id tell him, but if not just see where things go :)

just tell him the truth. Just say, " I know your'e and I don't want to make you feel uncomfortable, and I respect that, but if I'm gay and I feel attracted to you, so if I can ask you out and you accept I would very please, but if not because I'm not the type of people you want to go out with, then I completley understand"

Look, unless he makes a real move at you, leave the guy alone. I am straight to the max, but don't have any problems with having gay guy friends. The problem is they always end up saying they thought I liked them, just because I joked around with them. I stopped befriending them because they could never just be cool and be friends without thinking there's something going on! If he is really closeted, and you have chemistry, there's no way he's not going to eventually make that move towards you. But to do it yourself, you are risking losing a friendship

Maybe he hasn't come out yet, is unsure, or is just so embarrassed about it he wants other people to think that. If you want to get to know him better, talk to him more often about casual stuff, or bring up a get together party next week or something where you can get to know him better

If you feel that he is flirting with youu, he probably is! Some people are scared to admit their gay with the fear of other people making fun of them. So maybe he is closeted because hes scared, always keep your head high!! I seriously hoped this helped!! :)

he might be, however. does he know you are gay?? that is a crucial thing. otherwise, it is a highly strong possibility that he is inside the closet
