when the officer came up to my car i already had everything ready to give her she said do you know why your getting pulled over i said yes mam speeding ok how fast do you think you were going about 65 well i got you at 67 and so i handed her everything she goes to her car comes back and gave me a 307 dollar ticket i didnt get a warning or anything my mom told me to find a traffic attorney but i dont know what to do?

yeah get a traffic attorney! that's not abusive speed at all!
That's totally unjust!
He's obviously abusing his authority cause young drivers cause the most accidents statistically but it's not right in this case!

it will coast you more than 307 dollars to get a good trafic attorney - i would just pay the ticket, most people don't get warnings and you could end up losing your driving license.

The officer is not obligated to give you a warning for a traffic ticket

Get a lawyer for what? You admitted you were speeding

The officer also did not set the fine the court does

Lawyer will cost you $600+ and you will still be found guilty

Fight it. Go to court and ask for a continuance. Then another one. Then another one.

Eventually the officer will get confused about the date, or bored, or transferred, etc...

Then you show up in court and deny you were speeding.

But that's not an unreasonable fine for speeding (what was the speed limit?). The fine needs to be high enough to encourage you to slow down.

You dont need to waste money on an attorney. Go to court, if you have never had a ticket, they will lein let you do traffic school. School is cheaper than the ticket and keeps points off your license. You were speeding, so the ticket is perfectly legit.

You admitted to going 65 in a 55. So we know you was at least going 10 over the speed limit. She had you clock at 67. It's the officers discretion if we give a warning or a ticket, first offense or not. In fact asking for a warning with most officers will get you a ticket. Yes you can find a traffic attorney but they usually end up costing you more and not doing much but put out a lot of hot hair.
