I made my own religion, tell me what you think.?

• Family values emphasized.
• Community values important, but there must be a balance between a structured, supporting society, and privacy.
• One must study the world around him and better educate himself in order to know what is right and wrong, to understand the nature of existence and God, and how to make the world a better place.
• No pre-marital sex, and no being alone together before marriage. There should be a separate part of the house for the couple to be together where there is enough privacy for them to enjoy each other, but not so much privacy that they would be tempted to have pre-marital sex. Pre-marital hand-holding, kissing, etc. allowed.
• Alcohol forbidden.
• Smoking forbidden.
• Gambling forbidden.
• Pork is allowed, but not recommended since it is unhealthy.
• Humans are not gods, but they are not dependent on constant worship and ritual to live a moral lifestyle. Emphasis is on virtue and individual responsibility. Each person has their own special relationship with God.
• The consciousness of humans ascend to a higher place after death. Due to the nature of the universe, good people are indeed rewarded death and bad people do suffer. Because good people have tried to give to the force of good and to preserve existence, they are repaid by the higher spiritual forces of nature. Because bad people have only tried to give to themselves and to destroy existence, happiness and power is taken away from them. However, in animals and sometimes humans, sometimes evil acts had to be committed for the cause of greater long-term good, according to the plan of God for nature. And there is infinite time reality in the universe, and the same applies to God’s plan in relation to events in animal and human history.
• Acts of kindness, and work to improve and educate society are extremely important good deeds and acts of worshipping God.
• Excessive pride is a horrible sin, and although one must not engage in self-denial, one must look for ways to improve oneself. However, one must only do this in moderation, and should be happy with their self.
• Middle path in everything.
• Partisanship in politics banned. A person must never blindly follow one party and one party only. A person must only support politicians who will work for the good of society.
• People should never buy from a business that harms society and mankind, and is overly greedy and aggressive. If the people do not fight the business themselves, the government must punish the business.
Pillars of the Religion:
• Middle Path
• Family Values
• Balanced Community Values
• Universal Brotherhood
• Kindness and Charity
• Education and Enlightenment of the Individual and Of Society. Learning About The World and The Universe in the Name of God.
• Controlling of Anger, Ego, and the Lower Self, and Usage of the Higher Self
• Practice Rather Than Theory and Ritual
• The Powerful Working for the Good of Society And Not Just the Good of Themselves
• Belief in God as a Merciful, Powerful Creator and Sustainer of the Universe, and Representing the Higher Nature of Humans
• Personal Relationship with God
• Enjoyment of Life and Working to Improve Life, While Striving for Happiness in the Afterlife
• The Law of Frequency (look it up on psychicjoanne.hubpages.com)

I made my own religion, tell me what you think.?

it has some good points. but overall it's just too strict. that ruins the best of religions. you gotta allow people to be human.

You're a Mormon, except that Mormons censor what they could be learning about the world, and they define kindness and charity in ways that I define as mean-spirited.

I think we already have too much religion and that is part of the problem. We certainly don't need more religion.

Sounds just as bad as all the others.

It appears to be based on similar wishful thinking.

Forget all the stuff about God, an afterlife and sexual repression and you might have something that would sound like a reasonable philosophy, but obviously it wouldn't work in practice unless you never voted or bought anything.

Oh, and the "Law of Frequency" stuff is utter bollocks, as well.
