Hello!
I recently moved to the US and in my country if you get caught for speeding you can make a deal with the police and you give him some money, of course much less then the speeding ticket and he lets you go.
Two questions:
1. How much money do you give to the police in the US to get out of a speeding ticket?
2. If he does not accept it have you now turned a simple traffic ticket into misdemeanor?
3. Does an officer have a choice not to give you the misdemeanor but to increase the price of the ticket for trying to pay him off, or will he always hit you with the misdemeanor?

Don't even try. You have to pay it; they don't take bribes. That won't go over well with them at all.
