I thought supporters said it was impossible for illegals get benefits, he was an Indian,Marine 42 counts fraud, how can he get benefits when supporters no illegals cannot get benefits we have laws ?
YAKIMA, Wash. (AP) — An illegal immigrant from Yakima has been sentenced to 8 years in prison on federal fraud and immigration charges.

A federal court jury earlier convicted 61-year-old Roman Ceniceros Mora of 42 counts of fraud related to unlawfully getting supplemental security income and food stamps; falsely claiming to be a U.S. citizen and making a false statement on an application for a passport.

The Mexican citizen has been deported several times, but has lived in the U.S. for decades.

The U.S. Attorney's Office in Spokane said he has falsely claimed to be an American Indian, and a Marine veteran who suffered combat wounds during the Vietnam War.

The court ordered Mora to pay $155,431 in restitution to the state and federal governments, and to be deported to Mexico upon his release.

Lots of Welfare/Food Stamp Offices do little or nothing to verify Immigration status.In fact in some cases workers are actually discouraged by higher ups from looking into it,even when they have suspicion.Some of it is the result of cities who are already sanctuary cities,flooding social services with illegals because they actually believe these people have just as much of a right as citizens to receive the assistance.

So in Texas,San Antonio offices may do adequate checks,while Houston offices flood the system with so many illegals it becomes impossible to track.In some states like Texas,it is estimated that 25-30% of social service money is spent on illegals,more if you add in the children of illegals who get benefits because they actually are citizens.Of course if we deported their illegal parents,they may not even be here in the first place.

The fact is that illegals are a drain on the taxpayers in more than one way,this is just one of the way.Of course the 0bama Regime continues to do everything within its power to keep States from protecting their citizens from this scourge.

When they say that I think they mean it's impossible for them to get benefits without committing fraud. Which is true in most places outside of California.
