Im a web designer and would like to build a website which is a sort of consumer soap box for venting about poor customer service.
It would be geared towards making companies take notice by having these complaints out in the open for all to see, but there would also be a mechanism in place for them to contact the complainee and potentially put the issue to right. I would moderate all contributions for bad language and blatant slander.
I would encourage visitors to write coherently and provide evidence of receiving bad consumer experiences.
But I want to know how much trouble I could be putting myself in if a company decides they want to take action, should I include terms and conditions on the site? How much weight do t&c's actually have when it comes down to it? Wouldn't any of this actually covered under 'free speech'?
Thanks for any help you can offer!
