Seeing as your vehicle is your property and you have the right to carry a firearm (handgun in this case) in your house or vehicle, must you alert a policeman of a firearm in your vehicle if they pull you over for any reason? What are the laws for this in Georgia?

You do not have to tell them you have a firearm. However, they have the right to search your vehicle anywhere within the reach of your arm without a warrant. This includes your glove compartment. If they ask you if you have a firearm, do not lie. It is legal, as long as you are not prohibited by law, to carry a firearm in YOUR vehicle in Georgia without a permit.

What you SHOULD warn the officer about is the wand hidden in your jacket. Also tell him that you're not afraid to use "avada kedavra" if you have to.

Yes! in any state you have to tell the police man any and all weapons in your possession such as guns and knives. Be prepared if he asks to see if youre licensed to carry the gun though.
