If I plead no contest to.a moving violation in OHIO, will it have an effect on the court reporting it to NJ to assign points to your license?

Obviously I'm just gonna do it anyways, but will it do anything different? Or at least make somebodies day more difficult?

i'm not sure of the laws in either state, but in south carolina, if you show up in court and ask the judge if he will take a plea to a lesser charge they usually do. here if it is speeding, which has 2 of 4 points depending on speed, you can ask the judge to let you plead to careless operation which has no points... still have to pay the fine tho.

"No contest" EXACTLY EQUALS "Guilty" in all respects except spelling.
