Intelius is a Scam ?!?!?

They sure are. I wanted to look up a criminal search for a potential tenant, and on their site, they offer multiple selections for varying types of searches. Beware, once you have chosen one, they will bill you several times for several memberships without your knowlege and you will see multiple charges against your account from these "memberships" that they sign you up for saying that you knew that you were choosing that option based on fine print located on another page that you don't even have access to see, so how exactly are you privy to this knowlege? YOU AREN'T !! This is a scam ran by a public business and they have had MANY consumer complaints (LOOK THEM UP ! ) and even class action lawsuits that are still pending, which means that they are still running these shady operations because they have had no legal judgement made against them yet. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY OF YOUR FINANCIAL INFO . Do NOT give them your credit card or debit card number for ANY reason. STAY AWAY !

- I felt like there simply was not enough awareness out there against this fraudulent operation and felt compelled to help the cause after they ripped me off of over $340 in the span of only 3 weeks.

You need to contact your credit card company and tell them to reverse the charges and report them to rippoffreport.com

Contact your credit card company or bank and dispute the charges, or open a dispute on PayPal. You should get your money back. If you want to report the seller for fraud, file a complaint at http://IC3.gov/ and http://SecretService.gov/criminal.shtml
You can get a complete list of all the places you can report to here:
http://ConsumerAction.gov/
http://ConsumerFraudReporting.org/
http://FraudAid.com/Articles/
http://FTCComplaintAssistant.gov/
http://StopFraud.gov/report.html
If they sent you anything in the mail, it is also Mail Fraud:
