Internet Laws When Rights are Violated in a game?

Postby zacchaeus21 » Sun Mar 18, 2012 1:03 am

After a while of playing a game i got banned without any reason, based on them i was using other programs i did not. After a while of contacting them via email and getting replys after days, they did not answered any of my questions and they dont prove me wrong and decided to do not answer anything about the ban.

I am a business man and i want to know where on internet or here in USA i need to go to denounce this since obsly they denied a service i am paying without reason. I dont care how much it cost me if need lawyers but first i want to go and denounce or if there some internet site that i can denounce this types of violations and get my case going?

There are no such laws. Good thing your business does not require use of proper English.

There is no law that prevents a private company from 'banning' anyone they want from using their online services. If you are a businessman, you should know that.

You agreed to abide by their rules when you signed up. Read their terms of service.

I'm sure you can find online forums that will allow you to 'denounce' them all day long. Be very careful that you do not cross the line into slander or libel.

The best you can hope for is restitution based on breach of contract. However, since you are in the US and the game company is in Europe, you have little chance at recovering anything and no worthwhile lawyer would be waste their time on such a trivial lawsuit.

Yeah, you're a "businessman." That's why playing the game is so important to you. What are you, 12?

No, there are no such laws.
