Is it too late for me to become an attorney?

I am a 34 year old white female. I have a bachelor's in political science and another in chemistry. In 2001 i took and did very well on the LSAT. I was offered three scholarships but did not pursue due to finances, raising my daughter and some career uncertainty.
A divorce and bankruptcy later, I work as a maid for minimim wage and watch my education waste.
Is it true no law school will accept and no bar admit me because of poor ethics from bankruptcy (medical bills)?

Not necessarily. Talk to the admissions departments of the schools that admitted you earlier.

You'd have to check with the schools and the bar association to be sure. Unless you had a court order against you, it probably won't be a problem.

However, you should be aware that the job market for lawyers right now is not very good. Indebtedness from law school is becoming a serious problem for graduates. $100,000 in debt from student loans for law school is not uncommon.
