Just saw something happening that did not happen?

i live with family. i went to the living room and my sister in law was there with my niece whose 2 years old, they were in the living room cause my brother is napping.

anyway, i was standing there and i saw her bedroom door open and i saw her go in and close the door behind her. i was worried because of my niece being alone so i went to accompany her when all of the sudden i hear my sister in law speaking from the bathroom to the baby.

they have a bathroom in the living room close to their bed room. i dont get it, i saw her go in the room, and no one else could have gone in there. what did i see?

This is a phenomena closely related to Deja-vu. However, it is caused by the same misfirings neurons. Conscious recollection depends on the hippocampus and prefrontal cortex, whereas familiarity depends on regions of the medial temporal cortex. It just depends on what parts misfired. Scratch this one up to the brain!

You've experienced a time distortion. those happen on rare occasions. one day i was waiting at my bus stop for the bus when I saw it come around the corner and come down the street. I looked down to get my ticket but when I looked back up-- the bus was gone!

I thought maybe I had zoned out or something; it could not have gone down the street past me could it...? But as I looked around, I saw the same people standing there as before so the bus didn't pick them up... But as I was standing there trying to figure out what happened, I saw the bust come around the corner and do th exact same thing it did a few moments before only this time the bus pulled up in front of m and stopped. The people got on and lastly, so did I. suddenly it made sense; a time loop! i had heard about them before, but I had never expected to experience one. I hope to never experience one again. They can be very disorientating.

They have happened to others (see below) and that is what probably happened to you unless you have precognition. ;-)
