Kentucky labor law help?

If he is salaried, then he is not entitled to specific breaks. However, no employer would object to his taking a few minutes off periodically when the work slows down. If he needs a break then he is the one who has to deal with it - he is the one who has to discuss it with his boss.

The only thing that you can do is to be supportive of him and not hassle him when he first comes home. Let him relax awhile and let him eat a meal. If you just give him a little peace when he first comes home, he'll perk up and be a little more interactive with you.

Don't be angry with him for being a hard worker and a responsible person. There are plenty of men out there who don't take responsibility for anything and don't feel compelled to work at all.
