Possibly. Sometimes old convictions are wiped when something's decriminalized, sometimes not. It's decided case-by-case, I think.
For example, when age of consent for homosexual activity in the UK was reduced to 16 in 2000 (Sexual Offences (Amendment) act 2000), records for convictions related to sex with men between the ages of 16 and 18 were not wiped. Men with such convictions could not apply to have them discounted until the Protection of Freedoms Act came into force in May 2012.
