I have Microsoft Office Mac 2011 home and student for my 27 inch iMac desktop, and every single time i either restart my computer or turn it off then on ... the " Office installer" window pops as a window on the top left of my screen and it is really annoying! I have the full version installed properly, intact i even called microsoft technical support and had the guy walk me through it to make sure it was properly installed, but yet every time i turn my computer on it pops up! I have went into system preferences and then users & groups and made sure it was NOT in my login items, and i even went to the apple at the top left, clicked shut down, and made sure the box was UNCHECKED that says " Reopen windows when logging back in". I have tried everything! I make sure Microsoft word is not open when i shut down as well. Please someone help me with this annoying problem! the icon that is in the screen that pops up looks like this ill try to describe it - at the top it says microsoft office 2011 .. then at the top left it says microsoft office : mac 2011... and then at the bottom to bottom right, theres a graphic image of red, green, yellow, and blue lines mixing with each other, ( i think that is the trademark graphic image for 2011 microsoft) and then the icon that i am allowed to click looks like this : a black folder with a green arrow pointing down on it with the same graphic image i just described at the bottom to bottom right of the folder. The words at the bottom of this folder describing what is it reads " Office Installer" When i double click this icon, the "Install microsoft office for mac 2011" window pops up that will install it on my computer ( which it already is installed). So there, if there is anyone out there who can help with my problem please do! I have tried everything i have called apple i have called microsoft and they don't know how to resolve this! Please i need this to be fixed! Thank you in advance to anyone out there who can help.
