Missing Items Boq Items Under Remeasurement Contract

Hello Sir,

Can a contractor be paid for any item which is not mentioned in BOQ under re-measurement contract? Please assume that missing item/s is mentioned in drawing & specification.

Dear Priyanka,

Thank you for your question.

No, no payment can be made against non-existing items in BoQ.

However, the Contractor must execute the works as detailed in the Specifications, Drawings and any other Contract document.

If any missing item, at tendering time, Tenderers should have asked about it, or include related costs in the other related items, existing in the BoQ.
