I just got thrown off yet another FTP host - this time for "back linking" and "SEO SPAM" - only now after this have I any idea what these are,and I do not think my account has them. The FTP host says some "3rd party" told them my account was spammy. But I was not warned,nor have I any comeback to protest my innocence...my questions are these:

1. What are your experiences of free speech and liberty with FTP hosts?
2. Who do you think the 3rd party is - and could it be someone like Yahoo/Google...or the FBI?
3. Do you think FTP hosts should HAVE to warn you about termination of an account,and why they are doing so to give you a chance to respond and declare your innocence and then take action upon what you have said...ie presume you innocent as in a court of law,rather than hanging you out to dry in a kangaroo court?
4. Why is the law online not the same as the law IRL?

Why any of 1,2 or 4?. It's their system they can do what they want. Your freedom of speech only covers what you want to say, not what others allow you to say on their property.

A simple example, some things you say in my house will get you a smack in the mouth, regardless of your right to say it in public.

As to 3, it could be anyone who reported it.
