Though she is your husband's mother, I may not use word as your duty to look after her because it is up to you but your husband will definitely not agree to your proposal. It is advisable to keep her with you so that not only she will get good attention but she will improve her health being in family and your husband will also relieve his tension because his mother is with him.

Loneliness is the biggest killers of elderly persons. Try to adjust her in the house where all of you leave. Let her be happy at the fag end of her life. All the love and pain that you may take to adjust her with you will be repaid ten times by her 'ashirwad' and blessings of God.
