My options after finding out pregnancy?

Postby demarco » Wed Dec 21, 2011 9:52 am

I'm pretty sure that I'm pregnant, about 6 weeks along.
But I need to be taken to get a blood test done.
My older brother is 22. Could I ask him to bring me there?
Could he help me sign for an abortion?
I really would like to tell my parents because I feel horrible not letting them know,
but I know that that would probably not be a good idea.
I've checked state laws, but I'm not sure.
I know I could also get a judicial bypass, which I will probably do.

I'm from Massachusetts and I'm 17.
What counts as a legal guardian?

I know that I am very unfit for having a baby at this age.
I am a drug abuser and I know I am not emotionally mature for this baby.
Neither is my boyfriend.
I know this is the right choice and I would choose to have an abortion before
the baby can even feel a thing.

you may not be fit to be a parent but you need to tell your parents your boyfriend if you are after the test and consider adoption please do not abort that baby because if your parents had aborted you then you wouldnt be here to write this question i strongly recommend you talking to your parents

i am 17 and 10 weeks pregnant, i had the same situation but you know what you want, and go with your heart, for me abortion would me the best choice but it wasn't what i wanted, so have a talk with your boyfriend and see what he says and don't let him say its up 2 you, because he knows how he feels

hate to break it to you but at 6 week your baby already has a heartbeat..
i think if your mature enough to have sex, you will be mature enough to do the right thing..
theres tons of ppl wanting to adopt childrent these day.
i think u should think about adoption before abortion

It's your choice but please consider that at 6 weeks there is a heartbeat and also that while you may not be emotionally ready for a child, having an abortion can be emotionally devastating in itself. All the best. :)

The baby doesn't deserve to pay for your mistakes

Put it up for adoption. Abortion is murder. I can't fathom how people think that mutilating their unborn offspring is okay.

im sorry but if you mature enough to open your legs and get pregnant then thats your choice the baby didnt ask to be brought into this world, and that very unfiar that you are taking a life away because of a mistake you made,
even though the baby is still classed as an embro untill i think its 9 or 10 weeks its still a baby a human life

dont abort it, have it and give it up for adoption it took me 6 years to get pregnant and i wanted to adopt there is alot of people like me who thought they couldnt get pregnant or cant get pregnant out there let them be the ones who are happy with the child
