OK Christians, more on freewill: why when pulled over by an Officer?

For going over the speed limit you don't tell the Officer you was using your God given freewill?

If there wasn't a speed limit could he interfere with what speed you chose to drive?

Without a law which limits how fast to go, would your choice of speed be to your own discretion?

Could you be given a citation for going through a intersection without stopping if there was no sign or traffic light posted?

Could God have judged Adam for eating the fruit if he gave no command concerning it?

Would Adam then be free to eat or not eat without God's interference?

You are over emphasizing the free will - we are not given free will to do whatever we want, whenever we want - we still have to obey the laws of God and the laws of the land.

God told us in the Bible that we still have to obey our masters (bosses), authorities, etc as well as follow His commands.

Our free will is based on our freedom to either believe and obey God, or to not believe....THAT is what the free will means.

We have the free will to believe God and lead a life of service to Him, or we have the free will to not believe in God and live our lives without Him.

If you spend your life thinking you are good because you don't harm other people then you will go the speed limit.
If there is no speed limit you should drive as safely as possible.
Your choice of speed would depend on traffic, weather and your own ability.
If there is no sign or traffic light no you would not be ticketed.
God did give him an order not to consume from tree.
According to the Bible that is what happened.

just because I CAN do something, doesn't make it right
I have exercised my 'freewill' in the past to go over the speed limit and paid the consequences

If God had not commanded Adam to not eat the fruit, then that tree and fruit would have just been another tree and fruit

Yes, he would be free to eat the fruit. God had to put a guard on the tree of life since He found out man didn't necessarily mind Him.

I am sure that someone, somewhere has said this.

At the end of the day, follow the damn laws of the land.

"Could God have judged Adam for eating the fruit if he gave no command concerning it?"

Genesis 3:3.

Just saying.
