Petty Theft While Depped for U.S.N.?

I am currently Depped (Delayed Entry Program) for the United States Navy, and I was convicted of a petty theft (Class C Misdemeanor). Does this automatically make me Disqualified? I have been told that it is equal to a traffic ticket, and requires a wavier. But not Disqualified.
