The only reason you need an attorney in most cases is if you are trying to protect assets that you might have and don't want to sacrifice them as part of the whole process. Otherwise, you can do it yourself. Look for WealthAdvisor's recent advice on this subject here at this site to a recent similar question.Otherwise, debt management credit counselling at DMCCC which I think is in Florida helped several of my friends dig themselves out. It took a couple of years, but they managed regular payment plans. Finally, you can PM me if you are interested in looking for honest work to do at home to augment your income. Prayer is great and of course you can have it from me by the ton, but I am a practical person and I know that money in a bank account and food on the table are useful too. Many blessings!

Have you tried getting a job? Any job and talking it over with your creditors? Even a $5 monthly good faith payment will be accepted by most creditors. And don't say there are no jobs out there - you can always get a job at a Burger King or someplace like that - in this economy, dignity should go out the window - survival is the name of the game. Check Wal-Mart - they're always hiring! 60 months ago

For whom am I praying? Name? Status? Faith? Which God did you want prayer to? Unfortunately, by omitting all that, by omitting your name, you end up appearing to be someone who has conjured up a hard-luck tale for other purposes. I'm not saying what you are; I'm saying what you appear to be. I'd be willing to pray for you, but only if I knew whom I was praying for. "Anonymous" could be lots of folks here. I know God knows; I want to know.

You made the debt, and now you have to work to get it paid off.Where was your god when you were incurring the debt in the first place? Why didn't he control you then? Why should he help you know? 60 months ago

Just have faith and the good Lord is directing your ways right now.  Believe what you asked and the Father will get you what you need.   We will pray for you and others facing similar situations.

That you asked by anonymously creates a problem with the entire question itself. For whom am I praying? Name? Status? Faith? Which God did you want prayer to?
