Postby hob97 » Mon Apr 30, 2012 2:01 pm

Last night I was pulled over for going 90 in a 60 was not real zing it and I had come from a party going to pick up my girl friend from work and I waited about two and half hours before driving my alcohol level was 0.3 maybe 0.4 the cop said...when he gave me the tickets he said I would not face jail time...I do not have criminal record and this is my first offense and I was not drunk or anything and waited awhile before driving but my driving record isn't the best I have had two speeding tickets before and i'm gonna go to driving school to help my points out but do you think I am gonna lose my license?

Question about drinking alcohol?

You may lose it this time and you're very lucky they didn't haul you off to jail. It may be your first offense with alcohol involved but speeding tickets can get you into a heap of trouble in court. They may suspend it or lose it...I truly doubt you'll be able to worm your way out of this one. Speed and alcohol kills! That's what the judge will be looking at. Cut the crap and slow down for your safety and everyone else's. Nothing is worth risking your life for or killing innocent people for.

It will depend on the judge if you have to go to the court. He may accept the "First Time" defence, but it will be up to him, but I would imagine you will loose your licence unless you need it for your job were he could curtail your usage times.
