Please Help! I've been in four month a relationship with a man I've known 22 years. He wants to throw me out?
OK. R moved me and my children from our apartment in TN to GA. I knew him for 22 years, he was my first love, I thought it was right. It's a nightmare. He now tells me to "get the F out" constantly. Well, mine as well as my children's names are on the lease. Can he make me go? How do I get him to go?

If your name and your children's names are the only ones on the lease, he has to leave when you tell him to. If he won't, tell the manager. If the manager is reluctant, tell him you will call the police and have him evicted. Most managers don't want the police around. He may be willing to break the lease at no charge and then you can leave and go back to TN.

First, no he can not make you leave. Even if you do leave you are still financially responsible to pay the rent.

With his name on the lease too, your only recourse is to legally evict him. You will have to file with the courts and show just cause why he should be evicted. If he is physically abusive, call the police.
