Due to dirty party politics the agitation is spreading to other states and gradually gaining momentum. Congress Party responsible for taking decision on the matter of granting status of ST to agitating Gujjars is throwing blame on state government and on the other the Chief Minister of Rajasthan says that the necessary recommendations have been sent to central government which is competent authority to amend the rule.
Whatever may be the case and whoever may be the responsible authority to take the decision if there is a will there is a way. Central and state government may come together and organize a meeting and discuss the issue at length. If the demand is not genuine and may provoke raising of fresh demand from various other communities in different other states in the country, centre should join hands with state government to curb the agitaionists stop violence. Law and order may be a state problem but the disturbance of such nature as prevailing in Rajasthan is unique
