Should these so called "bath salts" a synthenic legal drug used like cocaine remain legal....................?

theres all these fake synthetic products that try to get people high like the real thing. Now there this stuff thats being sold as a bath salt thats killing idiots like crazy. Another one was sold as an incense which users smoke like a joint and gets them high like pot. There used to be K2 which was banned by the federal government but it was useless. The makers of this stuff can just alter the chemicals slightly and suddenly its legal again. Theres an endless number of ways these makers can do to get around the ban. All the laws can do is ban a specific version of it and a new one replaces it.

Why does the Government wanna tell people what they can and cannot put in their own body? If people wanna be stupid and kill themselves, shouldnt it be their choice? Shouldnt all these laws at least be left up to the STATES and not the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT??

I agree to a point. Problem is that most of that $h1t is marketed towards kids.

Adults should be able to get themselves all fukkid up anyway they want.

I'm for the legalization of marijuana, but I'm not so sure about other drugs. Maybe.
But one thing I've often wondered about seems like a possible solution to some of the drug controversy. Are the pharmaceutical companies capable of creating drugs that would offer the same sensations of pleasure illegal drugs do without the dangers or addictive properties? Does the technology exist to seriously limit the dangers but still offer the high people want? I'm not talking about the fake synthetic products people use to get around drug laws. I'm talking about some much better and safer alternatives that would be better candidates for legalization.
It might be something to consider...
