Speeding ticket no radar and paced for 5 seconds-fight or no fight?

Postby jolie95 » Sat Mar 03, 2012 10:18 pm

I was driving on the 23 freeway yesturday with a few of my friends and passed a few cars at about 75 in a 65 mph speed limit zone and got in the fast lane where the motorcycle policeman pulled up behind me for maybe 5 seconds and then pulled me over and wrote me for speeding at 90mph and driving people with a restricted license. I never reached 90 mph and I'm wondering if I have a case or not?

If the officer was any good he determined your speed before you ever saw him. He can pace you from a different lane and from further away than you might think.

Did he tell you that he determined your speed by pace, or did he use vascar?
