Starting a home based bakery business?

Would you buy a cheesecake from a college student who bakes them at home to earn some extra cash?

The reason I am asking is because I am a college student trying to come up with ways to earn some money. I make really good cheesecakes so I thought it's worth a try. Basically you'd order one and I'd bake it and decorate it and deliver it.
I am a very sanitary person and very health conscious. So my kitchen is very clean.

I'm not going to register it as a business or any of that stuff, and I am going to bake them at home. The reason is because this is just a little side gig and I don't plan on it becoming something huge. If for some reason it did become very popular I would definitely look into renting a commercial kitchen so I can register it, etc.

But for now, I don't have the means to deal with that.
I have already figured out my cost of products and prices I charge.

So what do you think about my little gig?

And as a consumer, would you buy cheesecakes from me? Given I have a nice Facebook business page, pics, and maybe some reviews.

I'm aware of the cottage food laws in California, and that technically it's illegal what I'm doing.
But it's so small scale.

It sounds not reality, If you really want to do some business, I can give a good sungestion to you. you can buy some "cheap" products from Taobao China, and sell them out in your country, buy by CNY, but sell by USD, you can make a lot of money, I have helped a lot of foreigners to buy the products, they are very satisfied. You can have a try, It is realy a good way to make money.
