My Illinois company is going to required us to punch a time clock. We are salaried-exempt employees. We were told but we do not have a written policy that if we are late or leave early that it will be marked as a tardy and go on to our permanent employee file.
They want us to start punch the time clock tomorrow but we do not know what constitutes a tardy. Supposely, they are going to give us a policy in a few days defining what a tardy is.
Nothing has been mentioned about docking our pay.
