You havent told enough about How long you were married before you became a widow. Did he already explain this to you before he married you. So many questions that we cant answer . Go see a lawyer and he will tell you your rights. You did not ask this questin to your husband when you were married. He must not have been a nice man to not have made some kind of protection for you. He should have a least stated that your to live in the home free until your death. I dont understand why people dont ask their spouses questions.

Under Section 23 of Hindu Marriage act , you and your sons have one share each in all ancestral proporty of your deceased husband.

Since this right is built in law , you can even challenge the Will

There is no need to loose heart. u still have a chance to get something from the property of your husband. But there are certain conditions for that. If ur husband inherited property from his parents or grandparents without any will or document. They u can get share in property. So better if u need ur share, consult some good advocate in ur vicinity and tell him all the facts. If he is good in dealing property matters then definitely he would help you.

In India, the will stands good. His wife will get ZERO.
