What government program does the income tax fund?

Postby adin55 » Tue Dec 27, 2011 6:16 am

2nd question: Where is "income" defined in the IRS code?

3rd question: is compensation for labor the same as legally defined "income" that states the 16th amendment?

4th question: where is the law that says that individuals are obligated to pay taxes on their labor's compensation?

What government program does the income tax fund?

1. all government programs and agencies
2. don't know the exact location code, but the IRS defines income as any money's that and individual, group, or corporation receives for work, goods, or labor delivered.
3. yes.
4. Lost to the mysteries of time. Any time I have heard any individual ask that question of an IRS representative, they get a litany of responses that don't make much sense.

Oh good lord... You are hardly the first person to "think" there were smarter than the IRS. Go ahead and don't file income taxes if you want to see just what will happen. Do you look good in stripes?

Income taxes fund virtually all levels and parts of government.
